From our humble beginnings at the corner of Mott and Bayard Street in Lower Manhattan, MK Vision Center grew out of the Mott Optical Group — one of the most patient-centric, family-owned optical groups in New York City.
The Mott Optical Group was founded by Siki Ma, a Chinese immigrant who believed strongly in the American Dream and in the idea that anyone can succeed by providing excellent service built on genuine, lasting relationships.
Over the next four decades, the Mott Optical Group expanded from a single location to nine stores across four of New York City’s five boroughs — each shaped by our founder’s dedication to community, care, and quality.
In 2010, the MK Vision Center brand was created when we realized our mission had grown even broader. We were no longer simply providing clear sight through eyewear and eye-care services — we were becoming a place where we hoped to inspire your vision.
Today, MK Vision Center continues to honor this legacy through personalized care, curated eyewear, and a warm, patient-first experience that reflects the values our family has upheld for generations.
Kaleena’s passion is helping patients with all their optical needs and creating a truly memorable experience. As a board-certified optician with more than 20 years of experience, she brings deep expertise in fit, comfort, and styling. Her goal is to elevate every patient’s optical journey, ensuring they leave with eyewear that looks great, feels great, and reflects who they are.
Kenneth has traveled the world to curate eyewear collections that blend the art of style with the craft of fit and wearability. An early adopter of emerging trends across fashion, retail, and technology, he continually brings innovation into MK Vision Center. Kenneth’s dedication drives him to explore new ways to deliver world-class products and services that reflect the passion and care we have for our patients and community.
